Trainee Solidity Smart Contracts Auditor

About the role: the pre-auditor role is a role that aims to train members of the Hacken auditor team. The main purpose here is to contribute to the creation of a safer environment by making people who have certain knowledge about Solidity and Ethereum and who are enthusiastic about security informed about the subject. This means that the pre-auditors team will be designed to consist of jrs and interns who are likely to be auditors.

During this process, the team in question aims to provide a perspective on current trends, and vulnerabilities and under which inputs and conditions the audits are made by trying to help the auditors work on real projects while educating their members.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Solidity.
  • Basic knowledge of EVM principles and DeFi ecosystem.
  • Moderate knowledge of javascript or typescript.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to draft clear documentation.
  • Good verbal and written English.
  • Critical thinking and fast-learning skills.

Nice to haves: - Familiar with basic security-related concepts. - Familiar with Solidity security concepts. - Knowledge of one of the following languages: python, java, c#, rust, go.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the auditors prior to the audit process.
  • Create preliminary reports for the customers and the auditors.
  • Become proficient in analyzing smart contract security.
  • Be a member of our auditing team reviewing customer source code.
