The Technical Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the technical architectural diagrams and blueprints of all existing and future products and applications of B2Broker. You will collaborate with other IT professionals, business stakeholders and will be supervised by the CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical architecture/senior system analyst/IT auditor roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful technical solutions;
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, web application architecture, and database design;
  • Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and networking technologies;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. TOGAF) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain the technical architectural diagrams, blueprints, and documentation for the B2Broker’s Products and Applications (including Modules, functionality, Languages, Language versions, Components, Inter-component communication protocols, Services and their functions, Network speed, throughput, latency, and delay for each component, Load testing for each component and its metrics (for decision-making on whether to optimize or rewrite);
  • Review the technical specifications, and ensure that they are in line with current and planned architecture;
  • Participate in architectural committees, create minutes of such meetings, and identify potential risks;
  • Ensure that all new changes are reflected in the architectural diagrams;
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that align with technical architecture;
  • Ensure that technical solutions are aligned with enterprise and solution architecture;
  • Participate in testing and troubleshooting efforts for technical solutions;
  • Communicate the CEO’s decisions to the IT team when necessary.
