Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA-AT lead for two or more distributed teams or as head/deputy head of a department;
  • Experience in building and managing QA processes in cross-functional teams;
  • Willingness to improve QA processes to achieve better product quality;
  • Willingness to dive into and develop the direction of people management among QA;
  • Experience with Git;
  • Knowledge of SQL at the level of writing queries of medium complexity;
  • Understanding the principles of work and building client-server
  • applications;
  • Understanding the principles of the Internet protocols http;
  • Experience with command line;
  • Experience in testing from 5 years;
  • At least 3 years experience in test automation;
  • Experience with containerization, CI/CD systems, and Git;
  • Beginning level of knowledge in load testing;
  • Desire to grow and develop in the field of testing.
  • Stack: Java, TestNG, Selenium, Rest Assured.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the process of recruiting new employees, onboarding;
  • Installation of releases on test benches, assistance in setting up a test environment;
  • Set standards and unify, where necessary, QA processes in the department for QA - specialists of different levels from different teams;
  • See the weak points of products, processes, test models,
  • integration, etc. and offer solutions to eliminate them;
  • Set the direction for the development of test automation and
  • load testing;
  • Carry out hiring and firing, coordination of salary increases and positions of employees;
  • Organize meetups and other team-building events for the department;
  • Help product managers and leads in building processes, highlighting risk areas, and suggesting solutions;
  • Expand test coverage and manage the test model where needed;
  • Establish interaction between the QA department and other departments;
  • Help teams see weaknesses and resolve them together;
  • Develop QA engineers of the department;
  • Create all the necessary conditions for the work of QA engineers in the department.
