Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Strong technical background and experience in software development
  • Experience in assessing and evaluating the performance of software developers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and industry best practices
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with agile development practices

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate the performance of software developers, BA, SA, QA on an ongoing basis, including evaluation of the quality of delivered tasks.
  • In collaboration with delivery/project managers and senior management develop and implement performance metrics to track the performance of IT specialists and measure their progress
  • Provide regular feedback to senior management on the performance of IT teams, including strengths and weaknesses
  • Work with developers to identify areas where they require additional training or support
  • Provide recommendations on how to improve the overall performance of the development team
  • Create and maintain plan for the performance assessment
  • Create risk matrix and identity employees at risk (insufficient knowledge, insufficient performance or lack of discipline)
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to ensure that developers have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their job effectively
